IT WORKS!

That’s all I’ve got to say. I bought MissingSync from MarkSpace and it’s solved every synching problem I could ever have. I’m likely to use it to copy certain things over from the PC to the Mac, such as anything else stored within Outlook. iCal/Address Book/Mail just don’t seem to get along with bullying Outlook, so MissingSync will have to mediate the relationship!

Seriously, now I have no reason to go back to my PC, and am sooo happy with the Mac! It’s great! … I just need more time to play with it, please!

Oh where to start with this amazing gadget?

I’ve had my Pocket PC (Dell Axim X30 High) for a few days now, and so far, I’ve found a few good bits of software. I found a fantastic Today Screen creator and created a nice cherry blossom theme for it, setup a couple of email accounts, used MSN Messenger and found a handful of good games. Over the next few weeks, I’ll need to decide which ones are worth paying for, as most aren’t freeware.

I’ll also setup my blog to have a PocketPC-friendly version, and a way to blog from it, over the next little while, so I can post while I’m out of town. So far, I’ve streamed movie trailers, streamed live webcam and music, surfed the interweeb a-plenty, IRC’ed… What I really like is that when at home, it hooks onto our wireless network easily, and synchs with the main computer without a glitch! What can I say? I love mobile techmology!!!

I could use some recommendations on good apps and useful links, so fire away!

We came home yesterday after a wonderful Christmas spent with Andrew’s family, but I didn’t have the energy to post yet.

Today, I’m going through the photos we took while we were there and playing with my PocketPC, the ultimate geek gift from Andrew! He’s got a fantastically cute blue iPod mini from me. We’ve both known what we were getting each other since September or October, and I’ve been itching to blog about them since. Now that we have them, expect a storm of PocketPC and iPod related posts!

For now, we need to refill our fridge, as we’ve been gone a few days, so off to the shop we go! Expect more in-depth accounts of the holidays once I’ve had food!
